UK consumer batteries manufacturer VARTA is celebrating after outperforming the competition in a recent Which? Best Buy Report (December, 2011). The study has seen Europe’s largest consumer organisation put 32 models of AA and AAA alkaline and lithium disposable batteries to the test, measuring performance on a computer-operated rig.
VARTA’s High Energy products, designed for power-hungry devices such battery operated toys and portable music players, outperformed other well-known brands to come joint second in the test for AA alkaline batteries and third in the test for AAA alkaline batteries.
