Indestructible competition 2012: The ultimate test of strength for VARTA Consumer

The slogan of the Indestructible lights from VARTA Consumer gets right to the point – precise, strong and, of course, indestructible. In our Indestructible competition starting in September, we want you to find creative ways to put the strength of the lights to the test. The winner will walk away with a first prize of € 1,250.00.

The extremely strong Indestructible lights can handle almost anything that’s thrown at them. Thanks to the durable and high-tech design, the lights can even survive a fall of up to nine metres. From September to November 2012, VARTA is offering its customers a chance to really put the lights to the test. Participants will be able to register at www.built-to-survive.com from August 2012. For their own individual “strength test” the first 125 people to register will receive an Indestructible light free of charge.

Register, test and win!

Competition participants are asked to develop their own ways to test the lights and record them on video. When participants have created their own personal videos, they upload them to the www.built-to-survive.com gallery from the start of September to the end of November 2012.

Anyone who misses out on the chance to win one of the 125 test lights and uses his or her own VARTA Indestructible light for the test video will, of course, receive a replacement light when sending in the video.

Be creative and win € 1,250.00

In December 2012, a public vote will decide which test video is the best. Simply visit www.built-to-survive.com and vote for your favourite video. The video with the most votes wins, and the creative tester behind will take home € 1,250.00. The rest of the top 20 videos will receive cool VARTA Indestructible t-shirts.

Indestructible lights from VARTA are available from all good retailers at a recommended retail price from € 14.99 and come with a three-year warranty.
